Summerzcool Moves to South Carolina

February 23rd, 2010

The big show returned to South Carolina Tuesday night as Jimmy and the band continued the final session of the Summerzcool Tour with a show in Columbia, South Carolina.

The surprise of the night was a song for Carolina: “Coast of Carolina” was played for the first time since Irvine last May. Honorable mention goes to the appearance of “School Boy Heart” for the first time since Las Vegas last May and just the second time on the tour.

View the entire set list here.

The State has an article on the show, plus some photos and video:

All Shows Now On Sale, Many Sold Out

February 22nd, 2010

After the five shows that went on sale this morning, all announced shows have now gone on sale and many are sold out. In fact, many sold out within a few minutes of going on sale. According to Cincinnati.com, their show at the Riverbend Amphitheater sold out in six minutes this morning.

However, a quick check on all the shows this afternoon at 2:00 pm central time revealed that face value tickets through TicketMaster can be had to a lot of the shows still. We searched each show for two tickets with any price. The following shows had tickets available:

So if you tried right when they went on sale and got shut out, try again by clicking on the show above and you might still be able to score face value tickets. The primary reason for tickets becoming available after “selling out” is that some of the sales were rejected by TicketMaster for one reason or another and the tickets are then released back into the wild.

If the show you want to attend is not one of the shows in the list above, keep trying TicketMaster once a day or every other day and you might get lucky.

Another source for face value tickets is our Fun Ticket Transfer. It’s a section of our forum where fans can buy and sell tickets at face value. So be sure to browse the listings there.

If you still are having no luck, then you can get tickets through reseller sites like Stubhub, TicketsNow, TicketNetwork, or eBay, but you’ll have to pay substantially more than face value.
