Buffett’s elventh studio album was called “Volcano.”

Notes on the album:
-“Volcano” was unique in that it was Recorded on Montserrat, which had a active Volcano on it. A picture of Jimmy beside the Volcano was featured on the back of the album.
-3 singles were released, with only one having moderate success. They Were “Fins” - #35 Billboard Pop Charts, and #42 Billboard Easy Listening Charts, “Volcano” - #43 Billboard Easy Listening Charts, #66 Billboard Pop Charts and “Survive” - #77 Billboard Pop charts.
-Again the album sold well, charting at #13 on the Billboard Country Charts and #14 on the Billboard Pop Charts. The album was also certified “Gold” by the RIAA.
-At least one song did not make the album, that being Keith Sykes’ “I’m Not Strange, I’m Just Like You”.
