After “leaking” the story last week, which we reported on here, Australian Today Show entertainment editor Richard Wilkens reiterated on the air this morning that Jimmy Buffett “is coming, definitely, for one show in Sydney in January.”
He said that he hopes to provide more details in the coming days.

After years of rumors, Jimmy Buffett will finally make it Down Under this winter… make that this summer… for a show in Australia.
The Today Show (Australian version) made the announcement this morning, reporting that it will be a “one off show at the Sydney Opera House in January“.
More details will be made available “come Monday.”

The latest Margaritaville Cafe opens its doors in downtown Nashville this morning!
The $10 million restaurant, located at 322 Broadway, will open at 11 am for lunch after a 10 am ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring project principals and local community leaders.
Live music will be featured daily and the restaurant will be open from 11 am to 3 am seven days a week.

Jimmy Buffett will soon be appearing on The Today Show with Robert Greenidge and the Coral Reefers to perform “Winter Wonderland,” a track off of A Coral Reefer Christmas.
The news was included in a promotional e-mail sent out by Margaritaville early Thursday morning. Along with promoting the album, it says “STAY TUNED: Jimmy, Robert & Coral Reefers appearing soon on the Today Show to perform “Winter Wonderland!”
A Coral Reefer Christmas is a collection of holiday songs by Robert Greenidge, along with other members of the Coral Reefer Band. Jimmy and Nadirah provide guest vocals for “Winter Wonderland” on the album.
