Feb. 15th opening for Panama City Margaritaville

Jimmy Buffett’s newest Margaritaville in Panama City, Florida will open February 15th, 2008 during the Grand Opening of the Pier Park development, according to the National Association of Residential Real Estate Investment Advisors.

Pollstar ranks Buffett #17 in Top Tours of ‘07

The touring bible Pollstar reports that 2007 was a lackluster year for tours, down 15.6% from 2006. They’ve released their Top 20 Highest Grossing Tours for 2007 and Jimmy Buffett came in #17 with $35.6 million.
The Top 5 were The Police ($131.9m), Kenny Chesney ($71.1m), Justin Timberlake ($70.6m), Celine Dion ($65.3m), and Van Halen ($56.7m).

Cayman Margaritaville off of probation

The The Liquor Licensing Board for the Cayman Islands has ruled that the Margaritaville Cafe on Grand Cayman is no longer on probation. The ruling came at the Board’s quarterly meeting on Thursday.
