Margaritaville Cozumel To Open This Weekend

March 29th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Margaritaville Cozumel opens Saturday morning, March 31st. It’s the 13th Margaritaville, has 500 seats, and sits directly on the Caribbean Sea. It has a tiki bar on the water’s edge and a second floor view. At night you can see the lights of Playa del Carmen. During the day, the cruise ships sit a few hundred yards away and dwarfs everything in view.

Also, an Air Margaritaville will open in the new terminal at the Cancun Airport. It sits in the center of the gate area and is the center piece of the new airport mall. Expected opening is mid-May.

Truly a Mexican takeoff…very expensive meals and no Margaritaville Tequila!!! Huh??? I ordered a Key Lime Tequila and got a shot of Herradura with a lime..whatever! No Landshark beer either…
As my brother Toby says “What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico!” I’d stay out of this one.
