Time After Island Time is proud to announce our first radio special in tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Tropical Folk Rock artist Jimmy Buffett is one of a handful of living legends in music. He requires no introduction, but we’ll just tell you that he deserves a lot of credit for not following trends, but setting them.

Giving Mr. Buffett birthday wishes and recalling their fondest Jimmy Buffett memories is a good number of special guests including: Walter Cronkite, Tina Gullickson, T. C. Mitchell, Jesse Winchester, Jim “Moose” Brown, Keith Sykes, Marshall Chapman, Matt Betton, Will Kimbrough, Todd Snider, Peter Mayer, Robert Greenidge, Will Jennings, and more!!!

This is the story of a boy from Mississippi who followed all of his dreams, made them come true…and has made them come true for many others. Jimmy Part of Sirius Top Ten Music Events of the Year

Jimmy came in at #4 on the Sirius Satellite Radio top ten Music Events of the Year, according to a press release today.

#4 Every concert performance from Jimmy Buffett’s 2006 Party at The End of the World tour was broadcast live exclusively on Buffett’s Radio Margaritaville channel.

JB to play at Nancy Pelosi Induction Ceremony

December 17th, 2006


Jimmy will play at the induction ceremony to offically name Nancy Pelosi the new senior offical in the House, on January 4, according to a article from the Indianapolis Star.

The celebration culminates with a 3,000-seat black-tie dinner and concert at the elegant National Building Museum near Capitol Hill, with scheduled performances by Carole King and Jimmy Buffett, among others.
