Some Buffett t-shirts sold at the Philadelphia concert had listed Portland, Oregon and San Diego, California as “Ports of Call” for the fall, along with the already known Vegas Dates. We can reasonably expect that they will probably be tour dates that are announced in the next week or two.

Jimmy Buffett joined Jack Johnson on stage on Sunday night at Johnson’s show at the Charter One Pavillion in Chicago. Buffett came out and performed A Pirate Looks at Forty with Johnson for an encore.

Johnson’s song “The Horizon Has Been Defeated” has been a regular in Buffett’s set lists this summer, while “A Pirate Looks At Forty” is often played by Johnson at his shows.

The Salty Piece of Land Tour continues on Thursday with the first of two shows at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

The Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club is having a birthday!! We have a weekend full of great activities planned for September 9 and 10 to celebrate our 11th birthday! We will be taking over the Holiday Inn Harbourside Resort on Indian Rocks beach.

The festivities begin Friday night with live entertainment by the De’Leid Parrots starting at 6PM. There will also be a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Save the Manatee Club from 6-9PM outside at Jimmy Guana’s. Join the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club Saturday evening for a GREAT night of celebrating at 7:30PM. Gary and the Landsharks are set to take the stage at 8PM. Once again, The Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club is NOT charging admission for any of our parties. This is our gift to you!
