Molson Amphitheater Confirms Toronto Show

We first reported on March 10th that Buffett would play the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto on June 13th. The Molson Amphitheater is now confirming this on their website.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 1st with prices ranging from $40.25 – $119.75.

Barbara Bush Quotes Buffett

Speaking at California State University, Stanislaus’ Leadership Forum on Wednesday night in Modesto, California, Barbara Bush quoted Jimmy Buffett.

“There’s no question, I am the luckiest woman in the world,” she said.

“Wrinkles only go where smiles have been. … One look at my face, and you know I’ve led a happy life.”

Margaritaville Meets Nashville

The Star Tribune has an article about Buffett’s influence on country music.

Kenny Chesney isn’t the only singer in Nashville who has caught the beach bug.

“I think everybody’s a Jimmy Buffett wannabe,” Chesney said. “Deep down, Jimmy was always a country artist. His songs had a country soul to them.”
