How to streamcast Jimmy's concert video streams

In August of last year, a significant change was made in how Jimmy's concerts are video streamed on Margaritaville TV.

The change was necessitated due people pirating the video streams for profit. This was done by way of posting links on Youtube offering access to the video stream the required paying a fee to watch the video stream. Jimmy never charges for the the streaming of his shows on either Radio Margaritaville or Margaritaville TV the free streams are Jimmy's gift to all of us Parrotheads. In order to combat those who were posting scam links to the shows, Jimmy's tech people made the change I mentioned above. Prior to August of last year the video link for the show would be posted on Youtube for everyone to easily find. Youtube has different levels of how links can be made accessible these levels include public, private and unlisted. Public links are accessible to everyone, private links are accessible to holder of a Youtube account only though the holder can invite people to view the link. Unlisted links are just that they are not listed of findable through Youtube's main webpage and search box they can be available for viewing by the account holder via any method the account holder chooses.

Video links for Jimmy's show are hosted via the official Margaritaville Youtube Channel only, the change made to links for Jimmy's shows was to switch them from public links to unlisted links. This means the links for the shows are no longer accessible directly through Youtube as they have been in the past. Now the concert video streams are only available via Jimmy's official website (jimmybuffett.com) and Jimmy official FB page I believe. Access via Jimmy's official website requires a FREE Fin Club membership which will need in order to login to Margaritaville TV. To repeat Fin Club memberships are FREE and allow access to all of the content on Jimmy's official website.

Once you have signed up for a FREE Fin Club membership and you have logged into the Fin Club, you then click Margaritaville TV from then menu on Jimmy's official website. Clicking Margaritaville TV will take you to the live broadcast of the concert which is available via an embedded Youtube player which has all of the standard Youtube controls.

Due to the above discussed changes, watching the concerts on TV's now requires the use of what is called Streamcasting or simply casting.
