Michael Utley - Piano, Keyboards
Hailing from Blytheville, Arkansas, Michael Utley began his music career at Criteria Studios in Miami, FL where he worked with such acts as Aretha Franklin, Jerry Jeff Walker, and the Allman Brothers.
Mr. Utley, as Jimmy often calls him, first worked with Buffett on his 1973 album “A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean”. He began touring with Jimmy in 1977 and has been a Coral Reefer ever since.

Robert Greenidge - Percussion
A native of Trinidad, Robert Greenidge first began playing the steel drums at age 8 and is now one of the most renowned players in the world.
Robert first appeared with Buffett on the 1983 album “One Particular Harbour”, where he beat his drum for the title track and “Brown Eyed Girl.” Greenidge has been touring and recording with Buffett ever since.

Peter Mayer - Guitar
Peter Mayer grew up in Tamilnadu, India, where his parents were missionaries for 17 years before returning to their Missouri Roots. In 1989, Elliot Scheiner was hired to produce Jimmy’s “Off to See the Lizard.” Having just worked with Peter’s group, PM, Scheiner suggested Buffett use the band for his album and the rest is history.
When not touring with Buffett and the Coral Reefers, Peter tours the country with his own band. |

Jim Mayer - Bass Guitar

Jim speaks of walking into the studio with Jimmy for the first time, “We didn’t know who the heck this guy was. We knew Margaritaville and that’s it! We figured it would be a single project and maybe a gig or two. Ten years later, here we are, full-fledged Coralator Reefermegators.”

Roger Guth - Drums
Roger Guth was born in St. Louis, MO. In 1989, Elliot Scheiner was hired to produce Jimmy’s “Off to See the Lizard.” Having just worked with Peter Mayer’s group, PM, Scheiner suggested Buffett use the band for his album and the rest is history.
He released his first album in 1998 called “Scotch.” A couple of years later he released a follow up CD entitled “Scotch: Cowboy Ballet.”

John Lovell - Trumpet
John Lovell has been playing the Trumpet since age 5. He first joined his High School Band and later got his first musician job with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.
In 1992, John was selling stereos at a Circuit City Store when he got a call from a friend who was in the studio with Jimmy. Jimmy was looking for a Trumpet player and John sent a tape, resume, and picture. Two weeks later he was a Coral Reefer. When he’s not touring with Jimmy and The Reefers, he plays with a local swing band in the Palm Beach area. |

Ralph MacDonald - Percussion
Ralph MacDonald was born in Harlem, NY, and has worked with such greats as Harry Belafonte, James Taylor, and Billy Joel. Ralph is also known for writing the classic tracks “Just the Two of Us” and “Where is the Love.”
Today, Ralph splits his time between writing and recording for his company, Antisia Publishing, and touring with Jimmy.

Nadirah Shakoor - Vocals
Nadirah Shakoor was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Before she joined the band, she sang for the rap group “Arrested Development” from 1992 until 1995, when she joined the Coral Reefer Band.
Nadirah is currently working on a album featuring her performing old Buffett songs. The album, “Nod to the Storyteller,” is set to feature 8 Buffett songs, 2 Nadirah originals, 2 Mac McAnally songs, 1 Eric Clapton song and 1 Neville brothers song.

Tina Gullickson - Vocals
Tina Gullickson is a Native Californian who’s first taste of singing and dancing was with The Doodletown.
In 1995, she joined the Coral Reefer Band which she now refers to as “the best job in the world.” When Tina’s not on tour with Jimmy and the Reefers, she spends her time caring for her four bunnies.

Mac McAnally - Guitar
Mac McAnally was born and raised in Belmont, MS. Mac has written and performed with many top artists including Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, and George Strait.
Mac joined the Coral Reefer Band full time in 1998. His role in the band has grown from acoustic guitar player to producer and top songwriter.

Doyle Grisham - Steel Guitar
Doyle Grisham was born and raised in Temple, TX. At age 21 he began playing the Steel Guitar and has since played with such greats as George Jones, Reba McEntire, and Kenny Rogers.
The steel guitar of Doyle Grisham can be heard on such Buffett classics as “Come Monday,” “The Great Filling Station Holdup” and many more. In 1999, Jimmy talked Doyle into going on the road and Doyle’s been touring with the band since then.

Sonny Landreth - Slide Guitar
Sonny Landreth was born in Canton, MS but grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana. Sonny has worked with such greats as John Hiatt, Mark Knopfler and Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown.
Sonny has made appearances on Jimmy’s tours off and on since 2002. When not touring with Jimmy, Sonny tours and records on his own. In 2008, Sonny will release a new album, “From the Reach,” which features Jimmy on the track “Howlin’ Moon.”

Bill Payne - Keyboards, Organ
Bill Payne was born and raised in Waco, Texas. Bill is best known as a founding member of “Little Feat.” He has also worked with such greats as Bob Seger, Jackson Browne and James Taylor.
Bill has made appearances on Jimmy’s tours off and on since 2006. When not touring with Jimmy, Bill still tours and records with “Little Feat.”

Jake Shimabukuro - Ukulele
Jake Shimabukuro was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Jake is quickly becoming known as a Ukulele virtuso.
Jake has made appearances on Jimmy’s tours off and on since 2005. When not touring with Jimmy, Jake tours and records on his own.

Greg “Fingers” Taylor - Harmonica
Fingers Taylor was introduced to Jimmy Buffett in 1971 while at the University of Southern Mississippi. They developed a friendship playing together at the university. Buffett moved on but a few years later in 1974, Buffett called Fingers to form a touring band. Fingers decided now was the time and moved to Key West and joined the Coral Reefer Band.
Fingers Left the band in 2000 and toured for 5 years, releasing a new solo album along the way in 2003, entitled “Hi Fi Baby”. He made several appearances with Jimmy on stage in 2006. In 2007, Fingers was a special guest for Jimmy’s show in Bristow, VA, playing on several songs throughout the show.
