The 1982 Homecoming Tour, saw Jimmy and the Reefers make over 28 stops from Boulder to Jamaica and places in-between. Bonnie Raitt joined the tour to open, giving Jimmy his biggest opening act ever. The Set Lists continued to grow, this time moving the acoustic set to the middle of the show and opening with “Boat Drinks.” Perhaps the most interesting show of the year was Jimmy playing the US Festival, a festival that only ran for 2 years, this being the first and only apperance by Jimmy.
