Set List Archive -> 1981 Set Lists
New Year, same band, same tour. But what a Tour it was. “Coconut Telegraph” finally brought some fresh material to the set list, which expanded by 4 songs to the longest shows Jimmy had ever played. For the first time since ‘76, Jimmy began opening his shows solo, adding members of the band with each song until the full band was on stage. This process would be repeated in 1983, as well as 1985 and to a lesser extent in 2004. “God’s Own Drunk” was also played with a full band as it had been done a few times before in ‘75 and ‘76.
