Set List Archive -> 1976 Set Lists



Although Limited knowledge is known about 1976 set lists, the few we do have indicate that it must have been a nice year to see Jimmy and the Band. Then again, what year isn’t a great year? Anyway, 1976 saw Jimmy opening the set lists solo with his guitar, as he would do again in 1981, 1983, 1985, 1996, and 2004. “Havana Daydreamin’” was the new album, but the set lists didn’t really reflect it, as just a few new songs from it were added. Perhaps the most interesting thing about 1976 set lists is the inclusion of “Margaritaville.” The song was likely not wrote until early that year, but it made all the set lists and with basically the same words.
