Afternoon world! They were predicting freezing rain overnight! 
I got up at 6:30 this morning, though, and the roads and cars were dry and the temp was a little above freezing, so the weatherman's predictions of doom failed to manifest.

A couple weeks ago I mentioned that I'd put an offer on a house here, finally. It didn't work out. Offered $5,100 over the list price and they STILL had an offer that was better than mine. So, we moved on. Found one today that we liked and put an offer on it. We'll see how that goes.

Big time. I'd guess that probably half the houses have offers on them the first day they list. At least, half the houses I'm all interested in do. We happened across one, though, that's been on the market for 116 days. It's overpriced, I offered what I think is a very fair price for the house plus a little extra.
