What do you think this tour's setlist will look like? Welcome to Fin Land's setlists were pretty awesome with over 100 songs being played during the tour, all of the Volcano album being performed and "Livingston's Gone to Texas"'s first appearance in 35 years! Jimmy's still got it! What do you hope/think he'll play this tour? Here's what I think/hope the setlist will look like:

Set:
Piece of Work
Stars on the Water
It's Midnight and I'm Not Famous Yet
It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere
We're Still Here
Serpentine
Come Monday
Saxophones
Weather With You
Swingin' Hula Girl
Cheeseburger in Paradise
Son of a Son of a Sailor
Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
Banana Republics
Volcano
Treat Her Like a Lady
One Particular Harbour
Knee Deep
A Pirate Looks at Forty
Southern Cross
Margaritaville

First Encore:
Dallas
We Are the People Our Parents Warned Us About
Brown Eyed Girl
Last Man Standing

Second Encore:
Fins

What do you think? Post yours.

As the years have gone by these kind of guesses have pretty much made themselves moot since he does so many of the same songs. However you are correct in terms of him stirring it up a bit on the Fin Land tour.

I understand some of your song selections but a part of me hopes that he's maybe seen beyond such songs as Piece Of Work and Knee Deep, We're Still Here, Southern Cross and BEG.

So here's my stab at, if I were to see him live, what I would think would be a great set list:

Set:
Fins
Cuban Crime Of Passion
Why You Wanna Hurt My Heart
Lip Service
Everybody's On The Phone
Migration
NEW SONG
Come Monday
The Wino And I Know
Summerzcool
Cowboy In The Jungle
Miss You So Badly
A Salty Piece Of Land
Son Of A Son Of A Sailor
Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes
NEW SONG
Volcano
One Particular Harbour
Island Fever
A Pirate Looks at Forty
Manana
Margaritaville

First Encore:
Stories We Could Tell
Havana Daydreamin'
Barometer Soup
Someday I Will
NEW SONG

Second Encore:
Wonder Why We Ever Go Home (with Fingers)

Nice setlist. "Fins" would make a great opener and would be nice to get out of the way early. "Cuban Crime of Passion" twice! This is either a mistake or you must really like the song. Although not one of my favorites, it would be nice if Buffett finally did "Island Fever" live. I agree with "Barometer Soup"; great song. "Wonder Why We Ever Go Home" would be a great closer; I don't know why he doesn't do it more often, I think the only time he played this as a closer was in Denver in 2003.

No "Cheeseburger" though? If such a thing were to happen, he would have to make it up by throwing "Why Don't We Get Drunk", "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere", "Southern Cross", "Brown Eyed Girl", "Knee Deep", "Pencil Thin Mustache", "Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit", "Boat Drinks" and "He Went to Paris" all in the set to make up for such a move.

A bit on the fantasy side, but I like your taste, sir. :drunk:

Just give me "Gypsies in the Palace" somewhere in the set and I'll be happy.

Oops. Well, I really do like Cuban Crime Of Passion but I didn't mean to put in in twice! I'll fix it.

I've always thought Barometer Soup would be great in a show. It's such a cool, upbeat, tropical tune

Here's my go at it. It was really harder than I thought it would be. Eventhough I wanted to exclude some of the "regulars" I didn't think that was realistic so they're in there.

1 Domino College
2 Autour Du Rocher
3 Volcano
4 Twelve Volt Man
5 Come Monday
6 Woman Goin' Crazy On Caroline Street
7 It's Five O'Clock Somewhere
8 Cuban Crime of Passion
9 A New Song
10 Desperation Samba
11 Surfing in a Hurricane
12 Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
13 A Nadirah Song
14 Havana Daydreamin'
15 Bama Breeze
16 When the Coast is Clear
17 A Pirate Looks at Forty
18 Fins
19 One Particular Harbor
20 Margaritaville

First Encore
21 Migration (Acoustic)
22 Tin Cup Chalice (Acoustic)
23 Banana Republics
24 Saxophones
25 Brown Eyed Girl

Second Encore
26 Gypsies in the Palace

Fixed it. Havana Daydreamin' is what I meant. Not sure how I put CCOP twice.

It was a bit of a mental effort to not put Tin Cup Chalice, Nautical Wheelers and...I dunno, Stories We Could Tell or Life Is Just A Tire Swing from A1A.

I'm beginning to think Migration is the best song JB ever wrote.

All I really wanna here is this....

Margaritaville
Cheeseburger In Paradise
Southern Cross
Brown Eyed Girl

Honestly All he has to do is play those 4 songs, and could walk off stage, and I would be happier than a pig in heat.

and if your still reading this, you must know I am full of shit, because I hate those 4 songs.
