One I really enjoy is the Huey Lewis and the News version
of Thin Lizzy's ''The Boys are Back in Town''.

I'm not particularly a fan of either of these two artists but here's Huey Lewis sitting in with Umphrey's McGee doing Huey's "I Want A New Drug".

Asleep at the Wheel does a western swing version of "I Want a New Drug."

Saw Huey for free in Greenville, NC back in the 80's. I never would have gone except our college radio station had extra tickets. I enjoyed the show even it if his music isn't really my cup of tea.

Not necessarily a "favorite" but I think John Paul White (the Civil Wars) does "Outfit" by the Drive-By Truckers justice here.

I've never really been into Springsteen all that much but I have come to respect and appreciate his work over the years. I was a big Melissa fan in her early years but began to lose interest by the mid-90's. Here, however, they really nail "Thunder Road" and it shows.
