Actually bought this back in May but it just now arrived. It's part of what will be an ongoing series at Marsh Woodwinds in Raleigh, NC where admission helps to fund a split single. This particular show featured Filthybird and the Small Ponds. Here's a photo of the single artwork in progress.

Can't remember if I posted this or not but my wife got me the MASH TV series box set but I have to return it, some of the discs were loose and fucked up and the spine of the entire thing is half off.

Cheap made in China bullshit. Goddamn.

According to the reviews I've read of the M*A*S*H* box at Amazon, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of folks said they just took the discs out and stored them in jewel boxes to keep 'em from getting damaged.

Is there anything different about that other than the packaging? I know the original was in a longbox format.

Now Playing:

As far as I can recall compared to the original release the music is the same only remastered, whatever that means. It's not 'up' compared to how things have been done since 2001 or so volume wise.

The book is smaller. It's all CD size, this issue. I recall the book size one being really nice. I think it's a bit pricey now. I found it at Best Buy for $38 or so. I figured that was a pretty good price for it being sealed/new.

I don't know enough about Marely's discog to compare to the recent reissues of his albums with all the bonus discs. I don't think it matches up since things have been found since then etc but regardless, it's awesome.

I think I've now completed all the remasters. I wondered what I was missing and finally figured it out, although there are some repeat songs on this record that are on other US issues (Problem Child, for one).
