May go to this one too. Not sure yet.

What's around the Sprint Center? Will we be able to have a good party before the show?

From what I have seen posted so far, there will be no real tailgating but the Power and Light District is right across the street from Sprint so there will be a party there.

Great Sound in there.. Zac Brown so far was the best hands down that we have seen in there.. Kenny Chesney & Paul McCartney was close, then Kid Rock, Bon Jovi, ACDC, Rascal Flatts..

Hopefully Jimmy will set all new records for the sprint center..

Sprint Center is the nation's third busiest arena and is sixth in worldwide rankings.

"Kansas City continues to set attendance trends as evidenced by the number three ranking among U.S arenas,'' Brenda Tinnen, AEG Kansas City general manager and senior vice president, said today in the the release. "In the 33 months since Sprint Center opened, Kansas City continues to demonstrate that the Heart of America has a diverse and vibrant appetite for live entertainment. AEG shares this distinction with artists, promoters, agents and managers that have made Sprint Center the must-play stop in the Midwest.''

Pollstar Magazine reports the top 10 North American concert tours will or have put on show at the arena this year. The top show thus far has been the George Strait and Reba McEntire show that attracted 18.045 fans. Standing Room Only

The arena opened in October 2007.
