Hey Capt, The only issue i have is I feel Kenny is kind of a poser. He should come out and say he wants to be the next Jimmy and not Hank williams jr. I am both a country fan and Buffett fan, however I think the bald country singer should grasp his roots and move fwd??!!

I'm fine with people thinking that. But I've followed Kenny for a long time. I first went to a show of his in '98 when he wasn't all that big. He got some hits on country radio, started making money, vacationed in the islands, loved it, and then started writing about it. The funny thing is, that's what Buffett did. Buffett started out as country, then got the island vibe. Now I think that Buffett is a much better songwriter than Kenny is, but he's coming along.

Honest, thank you for the comparison I didn’t look at it that way.. Ill keep an open mind, one good thing I can say is every time I go to St. John its packed with young girls hoping to run into him at Woody’s or Larry’s Landing!!

Agree with that one. I love Woody's. I've decided when I strike it rich and move to St. John I will spend half the day there and the other half at Skinny Legs.

and I like his song writing. If you notice, he usually writes very few songs for each disc...with the exception of the Be as you are album. I just love that man, there is no doubt about it :)
