Well Grand Theft Auto IV comes out and I find myself without a platform to run it, just got my old PS2. Which is better, PS3 or Xbox 360? I'm leaning towards PS3 for the blue-ray player.

I don't have either one but I am kind of leaning towards PS3 for the Blu-Ray like you said. I would prefer a Wii but I don't think that is happening for a while.

Yes, with an external attachment for $100

I have a Wii and love it, but GTA is not available.

Go with the PS3 for two reasons:
1. BluRay

Coming from somebody that owns a 360, I would say PS3. The main reasoning being the blu-ray capability. I got burned on the HD-DVD deal, so now I'm left trying to trade in my 360 and the HD-DVD movies I have amassed, which sucks.

If I'm not too late as for just game play 360 all the way because with xbox live gta4 will be releasing more missions and upgrades that ps3 won't get.

PS3....hands down. Especially with Blu-Ray.
I own all three and each have their own advantages.
But 360 losing it's HD capability hurts it abit.
And the Wii is just a totally different system. Great with the keet and has some fun games to play "interactively" for adults.

I have one of each. The 360 has better games, graphics and a better controller but the PS3 has blue ray.
