Since he did not do Charlotte in 2015, I went to his Atlanta stop in '15. I got tickets for Charlotte 2016 and I'm hoping it is part of the 2016 "I Don't Know" tour. It will be great either way. I know in recent years, the shows early in the year were part of the previous year's tour and included venues that were skipped the prior year.
My guess is it's part of the Workin' N' Playin' Tour. But I haven't seen anything saying that. It would follow previous years' trend.

The BuffetWorld tour page states "It’s a new year and Jimmy Buffett has begun releasing tour dates for his 2016. I Don’t Know Tour". I hope that it is correct, but it really doesn't matter. Maybe one of the BuffettWorld moderators can figure it out.

I was at the tail end of "Songs from St. Somewhere" tour in Charlotte in 2014. Rather disappointed, he had no zing in him, and it was almost routine for the rest of the Reefers, including the Reeferettes. I heard on Radio Margaritaville that he is going to start a new tour in May(?) can anyone confirm this?

Yes, he is. So far the only date released for the new "I Don't Know" tour is Frisco, TX in May. The four dates in April are the end of the "Workin' & Playin'" tour.

Decided to make the trip up from Florida for the Charlotte Show. Does anyone have any details about the venue and tailgating?

What time can we get into the lot?
Do they give you a lot of space?
Price of parking?
Can you rent and bring in a porta a potty or is their restroom on site for tailgaters?

I have heard traffic in and out is horrible, but cant find much other information on the PNC Music Pavilion.

Thanks!
