Jimmy Buffett's Favorite things

Do any of you fellow fans know any hobbies, charities or things that are close to his heart?

I think we all know many of his main hobbies. Surfing, flying, sailing, fishing.

As for charities, he's done a few Wounded Warrior events, most recently one back in June: http://www.buffettworld.com/2015/07/24/ ... ors-event/

And I'm sure he does more that doesn't make the news like this one. And of course he does a lot of environmental stuff.

You can click here - http://www.buffettworld.com/category/charitable-causes/ - and that will list news stories that have a charitable aspect to them

This is very helpful, especially about his philanthropic efforts thank you! :D

I'm looking into specifics. Does anyone know any rare flying gear or surboards or something cool and different that he'd be over the moon about receiving?

You might try http://www.chubbysurf.com/vintagesurfboards.html They have vintage surfboards and longboards at reasonable prices. Some are pretty rare and you never know what they are going to have. Like any "antique" shop, the inventory changes constantly.

Jimmy's also a fan of Sporty's Pilot Shop in Batavia, OH. He mentions them in concert every once in a while. I'd check out their Wright Bros. collection. http://www.sportys.com/wrightbros/

I've never heard him mention them. That's cool! I order stuff from them from time to time.

He even mentions them in a recording. I want to say it's on "Live: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday Nights."

I'm very jealous of his hat collection.
