What song do you ABSOLUTELY HATE live....

I'm with all of you on the above comments. The shouting thing definitely kills me as well. I think it's mostly due to him playing/singing to the first-time/one-time concertgoers. Or, it could be for other reasons, I just dont know. If I had to pick one song that is/was my go-to bathroom break song, it would be Cheeseburger. Song just doesn't do it for me. Someone mentioned Come Monday above and made a great point. That is technically a ballad, and why on earth he gets to shouting some of it is beyond me.

I am a huge fan of the rarities, or even the songs that get into the setlists every few years (Cowboy in the Jungle, Havana Daydreamin, etc.); and have always wished some of the "shouting" songs that we have mentioned would not be included in the regular setlists. However, I guess I should consider us lucky, in that many of the shows with rarities have been captured on live releases (Anguilla, Encores, etc.), not to mention the RM recordings.

One I have grown to hate hearing live is A Pirate Looks at Forty.

I got nothing against the song in general, but it needs a break from the live set.

Theirs so many others that can be plugged in to take it's place, got to resurrect some lesser known/obscure
tunes. I'm a fan of hearing those.

Wow! I did not expect someone to say Pirate, but, I can see what you mean. I feel like the song sort of loses its meaning (not autobiographical, but about his old friend from Key West - Phil Clark) at the large venues/shows.

A shake up of the set list would be good. Remove the shout songs and some that could use a break. He's changed some of them but after a while...

The new semi-acoustic version of Southern Cross they have been playing this tour is a step in the right direction.
