I found this little nugget on the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater Website:

"Tailgate parties and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the parking lot are prohibited."


What's the meaning of this?

They pulled that several years ago and Jimmy said he wouldn't come back until they allowed tailgating. They finally changed the policy and Jimmy came back. Maybe he needs to give them another reminder.

I was told that lots will open at 3:00 and the gates at 6:00. In the past, they have opened the lots early...probably because the cars were lined up waiting to get in. While there is a no alcohol rule the police will not enforce it if you are playing nice. They do frown on glass containers and will ask you to transfer the contents to a non glass container. Other than that we have not had any issues with shade canopies, tiki bars, etc.
