Tampa 4/18 - No parking until 1:00???

Looks like the parking lot will not open until 1:00 PM on April 18th, with a $20 fee between 1-4PM.

line up early - once the street gets crowded they open the gates and let the flood in.

That's what I've done in past years. Problem is this year there's a 5k at the fairgrounds that morning so I'm worried they may be pushing cars off the street.

What a shame. 10 years ago this was a multi-day event. This is one of the premier tailgating concerts - I can understand the greed wanting $20 a car, but why cut it short? They're just encouraging people to binge drink to play catch up.

I'm still planning on showing up at 9-10am. I think they tried to put regulations in for the last few years but cave when they see the line of cars backing up onto I-4.

Looks like there's a 5K race that morning from 9a-12p. Could be why they're holding people out until 1p. Poor planning.

Get in line early. Once traffic backs up on I4, they open the gates and let people in. If they wail until 1 to open the gates, the traffic jam will be a mess - it will take hours to get in the park!

Looks like the camp grounds are open. $37 for a 30amp spot per night. said you can stay up to the concert or move to the main lot

Talked to a bunch of Patriot Heads in Orlando today - they plan to line up early for the show tomorrow. The park usually closes the 301 entrance, and routes traffic to the MLK entrance on the south side. The traffic is going to be really bad. Look at the Google reviews for the amphitheater parking - not good.
