17 degrees, but the high will be near 40. That's a heat wave Went to House Of 1000 Beers yesterday to have a couple and ended up staying for 5 hours Enjoyed some good beers. Found it funny that the metal band Iron Maiden has their own beer. It's actually not bad. Nothing fancy, just a good solid beer. If I had a choice between Big Beer (Bud, Miller, Coors) and Iron Maidens Trooper beer, I'd take the Trooper every time. Today is National Crown Roast of Pork Day. Don't ask me. Even the Holiday Insights website doesn't know the origins of that particular day. Have a good weekend!

Going to start seeing 40's and even a couple low 50's later this week. I need it, part of my driveway has ice a good three inches thick in it, had to use buckets of hot water to melt ice to get my wife's car out of the driveway yesterday. Was out there with a pickaxe for a bit breaking some of it up.
