Rush R-30 Deluxe Edition DVD/CD
I'm not all the way through this but it kicks ass in ways I would have never imagined. I can feel a Rush back catalog binge coming on.
Fountains of Wayne Out of State Plates
I bought this sight unheard but on the strength of it making so many year end Top Ten lists. My knowledge of them consists of their contributions to the move
That Thing You Do (they were the actual "band") and their single that begins with a decidedly Cars bent, "Stacy's Mom". Plus I'm really needing to feed my pop music jones as of late especially after getting hooked on that new Nada Surf disc.
VH1 Classic ran portions of the 30th anniversary tour from Frankfurt germany this weekend. I only caught parts of it, but sett he DVR so I could catch the whole thing when I get a chance. They are an amazing live band -- probably the best I've seen.
I'll have to pick this up......I gave Grace Under Pressure a listen this weekend......great hard synth-rock album. Jah, If you don't hve it already, I recommend 2112 of all the early albums.
