Not just a biography but one that tells stories about the songs, albums, tours, bandmembers. Anything?

Not that I know of, other than maybe the booklet from the BBB&B boxed set. Most of the song backgrounds have been transcribed on the Margaritaville website.

If you want some additional stories about the band, recordings, and fun times, check out most of the radio station shows from the mid to late 70s.

Jimmy has mentioned (on several occasions) that he hopes to write a book/journal about recording the Volcano album. But, we're still waiting...

I know there were some half-*&# books written about JB and parrotheads but I think the ideas above paint a better picture. Hope this helps!

There are several in fact including

Jimmy Buffett The Man from Margaritaville by Steve Eng

A Pirate Looks at 50 by Jimmy himself

The Jimmy Buffett Scrapbook by Mark Humphrey and Harris Lewine

The Parrothead Companion by Thomas F. Ryan

The Jimmy Buffett Scrapbook and The Parrothead Companion both came out in the 1990's so they do not cover the newer albums but both of them have excellent information

Great book. Put A1A on and read. And if you've been to Key West that helps even more.
