Hmmm. I'm guessing he'd probably like something functional, not goofy.

Well, it's a stab in the dark I suppose but there might be a book he'd really like and of course there's no way to know if he has it but it's a fantastic book about New Orleans. It has a nice bit about the banana industry in New Orleans.
