Runnin' down the October releases 
Take the Weather with You - the 25th studio album was released in Oct. 2006. It peaked at #1
on Billboard's country charts, also reaching #4 on the "Billboard 200". 10 of the 14 songs on this album were
covers - the second most Buffett has ever done on an album.
The song "Breathe In, Breathe out, Move On" was written for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The song
"Bama Breeze" was a homage to the beach-front bars that dotted the coast before they were destroyed by
Hurricane Katrina, and at the end of the music video a message confirms this fact.
The songs "Party at the End of the World" and "Bama Breeze" were tour names in 2006 and 2007, respectively.
The album is the first since 'Christmas Island' in which the title track was not written or co-written by Buffett.
You Had to Be There - the live double album, was originally released in October 1978. It is the first
of Buffett's many live albums. The material was taken from several concerts in August 1978 at Fox Theatre in
Atlanta, GA, and Maurice Gusman Cultural Center in Miami, FL. "Come Monday" is the only song on the album that
features a vocal overdub recorded in a studio.
The album included many of Buffett's concert favorites as well as 3 new songs that had not appeared on any
previous Buffett album: "Perrier Blues", "Morris' Nightmare", and the instrumental "Dixie Diner" (a cover originally
by Larry Raspberry & the Highsteppers).
Feeding Frenzy: Jimmy Buffett Live! - another live album that was initially released in October 1990.
It is the 2nd of Buffett's many live albums. Like 'You Had to be There', the songs for this live cut were culled from
several concerts at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA and Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, OH in August
1990.
The album featured many of Buffett's concert favorites as well as 2 new songs that have not appeared on any
other Buffett album: "In the City" penned by Coral Reefer Mac McAnally and Lord Burgess' calypso classic
"Jamaica Farewell."
Christmas Island - released in October 1996,it was Buffett's take on a Christmas-themed album.
It features covers of popular Christmas songs in Buffett's musical stylings as well as two tracks which Buffett
wrote for the album. "Twas the Night Before Christmas" is a hidden track. It was the last release with MCA
Records.
