3 of Buffett's album were released in the month of August, taking a look back ...

Volcano
The 9th studio album & 11th overall, it was released in August 1979. The album and its title song are named
for the then dormant Soufrière Hills volcano on the island of Montserrat in the British West Indies where Buffett
recorded the album in 1979 at AIR Studios.

Additional recording was done at Quadrafonic Studios in Nashville, TN and Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles.
The album is dedicated to Buffett's wife and his daughter, Savannah Jane Buffett, who was born just before its
release. Volcano reached #14 on the Billboard 200 album chart and #13 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Barometer Soup -The 19th studio album released in August 1995, one year after Fruitcakes in May 1994.
This album represented a return to Buffett's one-album-per-year writing and recording pace of the 1970s and '80s.
The first single from the album, "Mexico" reached #10 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart but
"Bank of Bad Habits," the second single, did not chart.

Songs from St. Somewhere - The 27th studio album was released on August 20, 2013, by Mailboat Records.
The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 60,388 copies in the US.

No, it doesn't. If you had asked me, I'd have said it came out last summer.

There's a few things we're still waiting to come out or get reissued...

Buried Treasure. Uh huh.

A Salty Piece Of Land - the show recorded in New Orleans on that tour...

Fruitcakes Live From Buckeye Lake (video) or whatever it was going to be called.

Live By The Bay on DVD or Blu-ray...

Margaritavision on DVD or Blu-ray...

Of course, a complete remastering of his ABC/MCA LPs with art work etc would be nice.
