Well, I've been listening to a lot of really old Jimmy songs lately...stuff from Living and Dying, A1A, White Sport Coat, and even Down to Earth. I've been doing a bit of research to see when the last time was that some of these songs were played in concert. So if there is anyone out there at all who has either information or the concerts themselves that some of these songs were played at, could you please somehow let me know?? I'll obviously gladly do whatever it takes to get a hold of some of these shows...

12/7/99
12/2/99
8/25/95
6/15/96
6/18/96
6/22/96
7/10/85
8/30/96
6/20/97

Those are just some that I looked up with a few of the songs I had in mind. If anyone has any much older concerts though, and feels like sharing, well...I'll do whatever I can to make it worth your time. Thanks everyone.

Hi,

You might want to check out the jokelben ftp server (details were provided a few threads earlier than this). That might be your best bet to check for the availability of these shows. Just bear in mind, that Radio Margaritaville came into existence in the late 1990s, so anything pre 1998 or 1997 might be very hard to find or not even out there.

Hope this helps...

Here's the info on Jokelben as posted by urlcenter in another thread. MIght be able to find what you're looking for there.

For those who do not know about it there is an ftp server with a large number of Buffett shows called Jokelben
Here is the info:

server: buffett.jokelben.us
login: buffett@jokelben.us
password: buffett

Currently there are more then 300 shows on the server dating from 1974 to 2009

I just looked through jokelben's list, it looks 7/10/85 is the only one from your list that they have, but hey, 1 down, right?

Justin (aka Mr. Other Me) has a nice page here at BW that shows the last known time that every song was played:
