I'm still waiting for the live FRUITCAKES tour video from Buckeye Lake to be released.

Oh and the New Orleans A SALTY PIECE OF LAND video.

And might as well reissue LIVE BY THE BAY.

But no...

And where the hell is MINI-MATINEE #2?

Kirsten on RM confirmed Buried Treasure will be released "sometime in November" on RM today. She mentioned that was all she could say now, but more details soon.

Mailboat Records has released the information for Buried Treasure:

Title: Buried Treasure Vol 1:

Available For Pre-Order

Release Date: November 17, 2017

Standard CD w/28-page Booklet

Price $14.99

When legendary Nashville producer Buzz Cason sold his recording studio to John and Martina McBride, there was some cleaning up to do. That is when Jimmy learned they had found a sizable collection of 1⁄4-inch tapes that were demos of songs Jimmy had written and recorded for Buzz when he was writing for his publishing company. It turned out that there were over 125 songs in that pile of tape boxes. Also discovered were the original artist recordings that Travis Turk had engineered in Mobile, which is where the whole story of Buried Treasure starts.

Track Listing:

Don’t Bring Me Candy
Circle Is Small
Abandoned On Tuesday
I Can’t Be Your Hero Today
Rickety Lane
Wino Has Something to Say
California Dreamin’
The Gypsy
Hopelessly Gone
Simple Pleasures
Close the World At Five

Buried Treasure Vol 1 is also being offered in a deluxe package which includes:

40-page Collector’s Book with Never-Before-Seen Photos, Bonus DVD 20-Minute Documentary with New Interviews

The deluxe version is priced at $30.00

The songs Don't Bring Me Candy and Abandon on Tuesday were originally released on Jimmy's first 45 back in 1969

Volume 1.

OK.

Seen that before.

The holiday album from last year aside, JB hasn't released anything new since 2013. He's hinted at a new LP but with Buried Treasure (and supposedly Buried Treasure Vol 2 at some point) and the Escape To Margaritaville cast album, he probably does not feel the need to release anything new.

Got the deluxe version (Amazon). The DVD is quite short, which seems odd. Pretty cool, regardless.
