First time since 2012 that he'll do his own show. He attends every year, but has just sat in with others the last two

I saw the last one, the acoustic show, where he filled in for Eddie Vedder. It was across the board - good, OK and bad. He played Serpentine.

Last time he was here full on was 2011.

I'd forgotten that he was a fill-in that year and hadn't been scheduled to play

From what I can find Jimmy first played at the NO Jazz Fest in 1989. People complain that he plays Jazz Fest 'every year' but as you can see... he does not.

Uh, there is no tailgating scene that I've ever seen.

I'm most likely not going to see JB at JF this year. It's not going to work. He'll be back.
