Wow, what a nice plane! I wonder how close the actual airline ready configuration will compare to models? Either way, that would be the way to travel!

the city pairs being introduced start boggling the mind. DFW to Sydney! Their was a time way back in the 1980s when HNL was a busy airport because it was a few thousand miles from crucial points. Yeah the SP could leap the Pacific but it lost money doing it. I saw the era's peak and I saw Nadi's slow shift from crossroads to destination. At one time Canton and Fiji were important Canton Island faded, HOnolulu remained in importance from being a few thousand down and a few thousand yet to go now Honolulu echos with once was and will never be again. LAX and SFO as transpac glory will soon fade who knows what cities will emerge in China. THe globe is shrinking.

I'm not too impressed. It's only about 40 miles from Paine Field to Boeing Field, but it took the 787 3 hours and 4 minutes to get there!!!!

Hey they originally planned for a 5 1/2 hour flight to get there. Seem like they picked up a tail wind?
