Omaha, NE – The Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Center is ready to welcome all Land Sharks and Parrot Heads for a day-long bash celebrating Jimmy Buffett’s April 14th concert at CenturyLink Center Omaha! Just as you are, we are making plans for the big day. Here is what you need to know to join the party:
• It starts early! All parking lots will open at 8 a.m.
• While the majority of parking spaces will be available for the concert, we will be sharing the fun among multiple events that day. Along with the concert, baseball fans will be supporting their teams at neighboring TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. The CenturyLink Center Omaha Convention Center is also hosting several events that day. Please see the attached map for reserved concert tailgating areas.
• Yes! You can bring your recreational vehicle! Parking spaces are limited, so please reserve your spot early.
• Bringing a smaller ride? Reserve space in advance for your car, truck and SUV too!
• Portable restrooms, trash receptacles and charcoal dumps will be provided in all parking lots.
• Please note, we are not able to provide electrical or plumbing hook ups.
• Stay the night! Guest who reserve parking spaces in advance may leave vehicles in the reserved lots overnight, but must vacate the following day by noon.

Friday night's party is at Harrahs in the Stir. The band will be Soca Jukebox and they will play 50% Buffett and the rest their songs. They have a steel drum feel. Doors open at 6 and the band starts at 7:30. There will be landshark specials and cheesbugers specials.
Cover is 10.00 to get in, if you wear your laynard in the casino you will get free drinks while you are gambling on Friday and Saturday (who will be there sat?)
There will be an auction for a landshark surfboard, season tickets to the Stir Concert Grove, and a couple of other items. Proceeds from the auction will go to MOHMs (a homeless shelter and food bank in Council Bluffs)
There will also be a raffle on Saturday at the Old Matress Factory with proceeds going to Susan G Komen. Raffle items include a flip flop quilt, Landshark Lager Sign and a ONPHC basket so far. There may be more items coming.
Some of the games for the afternoon will be butt quarters, lime toss, Lets get drunk and screw, bra limbo, and of course the vibrator races. It is prom too so be sure to wear your formal coconut bra and grass skirts!
