I'd like to find a good margarita recipe for a group, so at least a pitcher full. Any suggestions?
Thanks! Cari

Cari, check the Frozen Concoction Maker thread. I think Stacey posted a good one yesterday!

I'm not a big margarita drinker. I prefer:

Pour tequila into a shot glass and down the hatch it goes! Or in extreme cases...drink directly from the bottle.

As long as it has tequila who cares.

I suppose it's me that's crazy...I SWEAR the discussion diverged into margarita and dirty banana. I'm sure someone has a favorite one - personally, there haven't been many that I've refused. I prefer the lime ones, though I did knock back many tasty ones made with pomegranate!!! :drunk:

What I've been trying to find is a "mix" recipe that can be made by the pitcherfull, possibly adding the tequilla as needed. We're planning our daughter's grad party which will have a Caribbean theme. We have a fav restaurant here in Baltimore that has an amazing margarita, I have tried and tried but can't seem to find a recipe that comes close to it.

1 oz Tequila
1 oz Grape Schnapps
1 oz Triple Sec
fill margarita mix

Method :
Ice (shake) // rocks or frozen

or the grape margarita slush

3/4 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 3 large limes)
1/3 cup Triple Sec
3 cups seedless green grapes
7 cups ice cubes

Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook 3 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Pour into a freezer-safe container; cool completely. Add tequila, juice, and Triple Sec to sugar mixture; stir to combine. Cover and freeze overnight. Place grapes in a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; freeze overnight.
Place half of tequila mixture, 1 1/2 cups grapes, and 3 1/2 cups ice in a blender; process until desired consistency. Repeat with remaining tequila mixture, grapes, and ice.

Sorry  I thought the other thread was just about the MCM in general and not necessarily margaritas.
