Ine could possibly make their own rockets (nothing as sophisticated as the AIM-9M of course) from some Estes rocket kits or such as the V-2 kit, and mount them on a rail or perhaps a multiple launcher or in a box.

As for guidance I suppose some techie could figure that out and get the parts from a Radio Shack ( the parts used to be really cheap for under $10.00 and even came in a kit for kids to build at one time.

One would then need to figure out the size of the warhead, and for it to detonate upon impact or to detonate it on command and go for a proximity hit. Then again just the idea of a rocket/missile buzzing them or across their bow, might get the message across.

One other obstacle would be to waterproofing the system AND NOT SETTING YOUR BOAT or SAILS ON FIRE from the backblast.

Then again it is probably a very high class felony and no doubt would result in severe penalties......then again blowing up one or two of the annoying noisy buggers...might be ruled justifiable self defense, but I would not count on it.

It is nice to dream isn't it?
