I'm ready! I cleared all the Red Sox out of my draft queue so that BBBBB can have them. Well, also because I wanted to draft GOOD players.

Draft is over. So how's everybody feel about their team? I feel alright considering I was the 10th pick (excuses I know).

Feel pretty decent about my pitching.

Definitely happier with my BuffettWorld team than my Missouri River Hardball team. But, you never know. Someone gets injured or someone has a breakout year and it can change things for the entire league.

Here's why I took Lohse. It was late in the draft so wasn't a big gamble I don't think. Hopefully pays off.

NY Card Fan: Mighty Joe-

You have to be impressed with Kyle Lohse's results so far this spring. If he could remotely approach his 2008 performance, it would be a godsend for the Redbirds. In the all-knowing eyes of the Chatmeister, is Lohse really pitching as well as his stats line would suggest?

On the flip side, Garcia seems to be stinking up the joint. Cause for concern, or still too early to hit the worry button?

Joe Strauss: I've been perplexed by the negativity shown toward Lohse the last couple years since he sustained a forearm injury from a hit by pitch. His poor performance had nothing to do with a lack of preparation or effort on his part. He was physically diminished. Now confident in his arm again, Lohse has looked like the best pitcher in camp. He's attacking the strike zone and again trusting late movement in his pitches. Garcia admittedly was overthrowing early in camp. Determined to throw more strikes on Sunday, he took some hard contact in Port St. Lucie. Barring a decrease in velocity -- we would do well to pay attention to the gun on Friday -- Garcia should be OK. TLR and Dave Duncan want Garcia to maintain a tight focus. Duncan voiced concern about friends and family pushing greater expectations on Jaime. That is not what the club wants.

Got bombed Saturday night, never got off the couch Sunday, fell asleep early. Guess I killed the brain cells that were supposed to remind me about the draft

You know I'm a Cards fan, so I'd rather see him win 20 games and kick ass for your fantasy team, than have a shitty year.
