Elton John to perform on New Year's Rockin' Eve

Elton John will be ringing in the New Year in style.

The music icon is going to performing on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2015, Seacrest
revealed during an appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday.

John will perform his anthem "I’m Still Standing" in a special live appearance from his concert at Barclays Center
in Brooklyn, taking place right after the ball drops — making him the program's first performer of 2015. The upcoming
Brooklyn gig is the 1st time John has performed in NYC on New Year’s Eve, and thus, on the annual special.

Previously announced performers include headliner Taylor Swift, Idina Menzel, Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum.
Seacrest has hosted the special for nine years. It begins at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
