From RedReporter.com

The Redlegs will win 90+ games.

There’s been a ton of negativity around these parts regarding our favorite baseball team. "But Derek, Walt didn’t do enough and there’s no money and Skip Schumaker, man!" Hush. Listen, there were some good things that happened last season. Todd Frazier became a real leader of this team and the de facto face of the Reds (#FaceOfMLB). Devin Mesoraco broke out an All Star season and the bat we were all coveting, all while dealing with injuries. Johnny Cueto was 2nd in the Cy Young voting, and that’s only because Clayton Kershaw was the MVP of the whole damn league. Billy Hamilton put up a solid rookie season, the second half notwithstanding. All of that will roll into this season, along with health. Sweet, dear old health. Joey Votto and Jay Bruce, arguably the two most important players if the Reds have a chance to win anything in the near future, had lost seasons in 2014. But guess what? They’re back and healthy*.

Dodgers & Mariners to face each other in '15 Civil Rights Game

The Mariners game against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on April 15th will be this year's Civil Rights Game
in conjunction with Jackie Robinson Day, Major League Baseball announced on Monday.

This will be the first time MLB's tribute to civil rights leaders will be combined with its annual commemoration
of Robinson breaking baseball's color barrier on April 15, 1947. The Interleague game at Dodger Stadium will
be televised nationally on ESPN2 starting at 7 p.m. PT.

Spring Training news - Mets make a couple trades

The Mets announced that they’ve acquired lefty reliever Jerry Blevins from the Nationals in exchange
for OF Matt den Dekker. Blevins becomes the 2nd left-handed reliever added to the Mets’ bullpen.

Mets also struck a deal to acquire Alex Torres from the Padres in exchange for minor league righty
Cory Mazzoni and a player to be named later.
