Saw Cars yesterday with my 6 year old. Pretty funny and as always with Pixar films there are subtle jokes that go right over the kids heads and adults find funny.....  .......at least that's what the people in fromt of me said   :hmm:

Be sure to bring plastic snakes to this movie. It totally enhances the entire experience in a Rocky Horror Picture Show kinda way.

I guess that depends on how you define "good". I wasn't honestly expecting it to be that great but it was in every way imaginable. It was like an old 70s disaster flick with all kinds of intentional and unintentional humor. In that regard alone it far exceeded my expectations. There was all kinds of audience participation in all the right places, especially when Sam uttered the infamous "I'm sick and tired of these motherfuckin' snakes on the motherfuckin' plane" line which was inspired by the internet buzz (they went back in and recut that part of the movie just because of the internet talk). It was also the only movie I can think of in recent memory where the entire audience clapped at the end. Yeah, it was good but only in a "bad" movie sorta way. See it with a group of friends that "get" it and be sure to bring the plastic snakes. You'll see what I mean.

What's been killing me is the people online complaining about the numbers the movie made over the weekend (even though it did come in at #1) and that they thought it sucked. If that's their feelings then they never got what the movie and the whole buzz was about to start with. Must suck to be them. Snakes on my johnnnnnnnnnnson!!!!

I tried watching Syriana but was bored, so I gave up.

I saw Two For the Money Saturday night on HBO. Pretty good flick.
