The first annual FloriDaze Beach Music Festival will feature THE BEST
Trop-Rock line up ... LIVE ... ON THE BEACH! Parrot Head-style
sporting competitions!! A special evening of PHUN partying with a
purpose to raise funds for a great cause at the Manatee Ball Auction
for the Save the Manatee Club. The weekend also includes a CD
release party for our special Save the Manatee Club CD Project! Many
of the artists featured at FloriDaze have contributed by writing and
performing original songs on a great CD that tells the story of the
plight of the Manatee.

The music line up is falling into place but we can tell you that on
Thursday May 15, there will be a great live show by Jim Morris and
the Big Bamboo Band!!! Jack Mosley and Band will the featured
entertainment on Friday at the Manatee Auction. Saturday will feature
an all day beach party with your favorite performers including Sunny
Jim, Tropical Soul, Jerry Gontang, Jeff Pike, and Gary and the
Landsharks. More music will be announced in a day or so! So stay
tuned!!! In the meantime....

A special evening of partying with a purpose at the Manatee Ball: A SeaCow Soiree, an auction to benefit the Save the Manatee Club, will double as a CD release party for Saving Paddy Doyle: It’s Up To You. This special Save the Manatee Club CD Project features our own Capt’n Harry as well as most of the artists featured at FloriDaze. They have all contributed by writing and performing original songs on a great CD that tells the story of the plight of the Manatee. This CD will be available for purchase at FloriDaze.

I lived in Florida from 1983 until 1998, they never had as many great festivals as they do now. Live Oak, St. Pete, Immokalee, etc all have fests that are out of this world.
Dammit, I am moving back home where itz warm and the music now flows...ok, maybe it will take one more year to finish my certification, but then...screw you guys, I'm going home..
well, not YOU guys, just the winter as a whole...you guys still rock! an then I'm joining the Tampa Parrot Heads so I can drink a cold adult beverage with ya'll from that area.

At this time I am stioll in PA for the next year, until i finish my certification as a schoool counselor then I will be moving back home to FLA. It would be difficult to make any meetings at this time. BUT I will be there much of this summer.
i am dedicated that Moonie and nanababe (spooners site) will be the first drinks I buy for anyone. and yes, my wife is fine with that.

Saturday, we’ll party on the beach with a full day of music then move inside for a late night jam. Sunday will be nice mellow music at the pool to wind down with. A fun-filled, music-packed weekend!
