Re: Have you ever found a One Particular Harbour ?
I have found a few up here in New England, including the one 3 houses away from me. But, I think I need to find a Caribbean harbour very soon. I have always wanted to plan a trip, but not sure which island/group of islands I would want to go to. Part of the delay is also due to my aversion of large...

Re: Have you ever found a One Particular Harbour ?
Found several off them on St. John! Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay and Trunk Bay. I'm headed to St. John (and St. Croix) in early November. A rare solo trip. Just bringing one pack, some diving gear, and a tent. Cinnamon Bay was already on my list. Now I have three. Thanks! One particular harbor. And anoth...

It really is. Like "pour it over ice cream" delicious. Like "gimme another jar and I think I lost my pants" delicious.Air M'Ville Cap'n wrote:That sounds pretty delicious

Grilled Pineapple + Nutmeg Infused Rum
In another post, I mentioned making Grilled Pineapple + Nutmeg Infused Rum. A few people have asked me about it now, so I thought I'd share. First off, a mason jar of fruit-infused liquor makes for the ultimate boat or bonfire drink. A very social thing: take one down and pass it around. I've had es...

Re: Playing Jimmy Buffett's Music
What songs are you trying first?[/quote] Sorry, I've been gone for a minute. Learning to play the ukulele! I started by looking for songs I especially like which include as many of the following chords as possible: C F G D Am. Because those happen to be the first ones I learned. So The Wino and I Kn...

Re: Hiya!!! And a question for the experts!
Hey all, Thanks for the replies! For the record, I get my Buffett fix from BuffetWorld, from Jimmy's facebook page, and from re-reading A Pirate Looks at 50 like a hundred times. I was really asking about sites that suit our parrotheaded constitution, but aren't Buffett specific. Since I couldn't q...

Re: What song do you ABSOLUTELY HATE live....
I have to agree with the comments about shouted words. Usually it's done without any regard to their meaning or, you know, normal syntax. ... ran into a CHUM!!!! with a bottle of RUM!!!! For reasons I've never thought about until now, the line above has always been kind of bittersweet for me. It rem...

Re: The first Buffett album you heard ?
I know it's not the cool answer, but I gotta think most people's first Buffett album was Songs You Know By Heart. Just like most people's first Marley album was Legend. At least that's what got me in the door. The one that made me a fan, though, was Living and Dying in 3/4 Time (and Kaya for Bob).

Re: Playing Jimmy Buffett's Music
Just got started on ukulele last month. Hopefully with some more practice I'll be able to contribute to the cause here. Something about the uke just feels right with JB.
