1981 brought a new tour, this time starting in early February. This year, Jimmy didn’t open for anybody, playing every show as the headliner. Unique Stops include Lakeland, Florida, Florence, Alabama and the Meadowbrook Music Festival in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The February 27 show in St. Petersburg was video taped for future use, though nothing has ever been shown from it. On November 28, Jimmy returned to Key West to play a benefit for the Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center. |
